Trip to the mountains (lots of pics)

My best friend was off for a week for her vacation.  She didn't have many plans and so I thought it would be a good idea to get away and go up to the Mountains in Oklahoma.  We took off in the evening and ended up watching the sun set as the sun went down behind a mountain top.  It was windy, but not hot and just was so relaxing.  Being up there at the top and looking across Gods land, was this freeing, peaceful feeling that I just soaked up.

After we went to the top of the mountains, we went down to Lawton and went to Outback Steakhouse.  My friend had never been there and since we are good....we got a free appetizer!!!  The food was good and when we started to head home, we had the windows down and the music up.  We saw this 18 wheeler and he worked with the post office.  We pulled up next to him and he honked at us....we drove down some more and at one point, we were going down the highway at 40 miles an hour talking to him through the window at night time.  We got to meet a new friend, but then afterwards headed towards the casino!!!  We didn't win anything, but headed home after a long night!!

This part in my life, I have been extremely blessed and in my heart, I feel like God is giving this time for me.  In fact, I know He is!!!  I have this group of amazing friends who love me and support me and we have been making tons of memories together.  This summer has been one of the best summers that I have ever had or can remember.  The weather on top of it all, has been amazing and not scorching!!  The days its extremely hot, it still gives me a some good Vitamin D!

I am blessed and will always remember this summer and this part of my life.  God has blessed me and until he tell me to move....I'm staying right here, enjoying life, with freedom!!
